Emo-nemo.

Posted in Uncategorized at 3:51 am by miszsarahz

:(

Its 5am on a Sunday Morning, and I’m leaving this place called comfort-zone homesweethome in less than 40 hours.
I remembered when I touched down on the 2nd of December, I was thinking..

“wah, got 3 months holiday. shit. damn long wei….”

But in a blink of an eye, my 3 months of lazing around, my 8 weeks of temporary LDR has finally come to an end.
Mixed emotions, much.

:(

You see, everyone thinks that after 3 years of leaving abroad.. Leaving home might be something that I’ve gotten used to over the years.
But ironically, the “leaving” part only gets tougher and tougher each time.

I am going to miss my family, close friends, cheap food, hot weather and most of all my very own comfort zone.
:(

Urgggh, I’m so emotional right now I can actually cry buckets.
Save me?

I’ll be back in Melbourne on Tuesday morning. I shall update with pictures from Melbourne.
:)
Takecare for now.
As for me, I’m leaving on a jet plane.

Happy ‘celebrated lovers’ day

Posted in Personal at 2:54 am by miszsarahz

In other words, Happy Valentines Day <3
As we grow older and more matured, we find this man-created 14th of February a day where opportunists take advantage of men in love to splurge spend heaps of extra cash in order to make 14th of February a special one indeed.

For all you lovebirds out there, I hoped you enjoyed your special day.
For all you singles, I hoped you enjoyed your time spent with friends and close ones.

As for me, my other half is approximately 5000 miles away, unfortunately down under.

weather down under.

Posted in Everday at 8:00 pm by miszsarahz

I guess God is being kind to me.
I’ve been hearing lots of people complain that summer in Melbourne hasn’t really been summer due to some climate issues.
Summer in Melbourne lately has been chilly, drizzling, windy and such.

So i checked the local newspapers of a 7-day weather forecast.

Chinese new year snippets <3

Posted in Events/Party at 3:27 am by miszsarahz

Had another round of *not-so-lucky* gambling sessions yesterday over at YinHo’s place.
When I wrote, *not-so-lucky* I meant, hmmm imagine this.
Winning heaps at first, but then losing way more later towards the end of the night.

One word : Greedy.

:(

There goes rm60 of my angpau collection so far.
And byebye pretty red shoes from Nose that cost 59.90.
Haha.

Chinese new year rendezvous

Posted in Events/Party at 3:19 pm by miszsarahz

Had a late night phone call from Joseph asking me whether I wanted to have coffee then go over to Eujin’s place.
Now Eujin’s place is very well known for our very own gaming funhouse.

Since I haven’t seen these guys in awhile, I agreed even though it was way pass 11pm.
Had my usual caramel macchiato at my favourite happy place, Starbucks and we quickly went over to Eujin’s place.

Eujin recently bought his new toy, the Play Station 3 (PS3), so the guys were playing it for awhile.
Then we started our gambling sessions with Chor Di, where silly Joseph won like 30 out of 45 times.
Big guesses who the big winner was that night. :D

 Guys and I
Playing with Eujin’s new touch-screen sony Cybershot. See I told you he was Mr.Gadget man.

 dennis and I
Dennis and Sarah.

I ended up losing 5 bucks.
Haha so much for playing 50 rounds and losing 5 bucks.

;)

Anymore gambling sessions? Call me, I’m free!

:)

A decision finally made..

I was speaking with my uncle, who currently is residing in Hong Kong as his merchant bank sent him over to work.
He told me that it was deadly important to pursue my Professional Papers during my penultimate year.
Being in such a highly respected position like him, I’m following his kind advice.

So here I am, at the coming age of twenty-one, pursuing my Professional Papers while studying my ass brains off for my final 8 papers.
And my seniors were telling me..

“..sigh when you’re in your 3rd year, better study more ar. Don’t play so much anymore. You mold your own future..”

So much for university life being a bliss huh?.
Think again.
Pre-school, middle school and high school must’ve been a breeze for all of us.

Here I come. My CFA (Chatered Financial Analyst) journey begins.
On their website, it actually states that only 1/5 people actually pass this programme.
1/5 is crazy statistics.

Pray for me, pretty please?
Please.
I’m going to be so stressed out this year, I might even disappear from the world.

Sigh, I don’t wanna grow up anymore.

Happy Chinese New Year darlings.

May the year of the Rat bring you much joy & laugther, happiness, good health, wealth and many other lovely blessings.

As for me, this year’s reunion dinner was spent quite differently as my cousins were all abroad studying in UK.
And the UK has different holidays from Australia, so this time, no cousins.
Just my brother and I, and the old folks. *giggles*

Dinner was scrumptious at the Grandma’s, and the first day was at Grandma’s where all my relatives would visit.
I have yet to start gambling yet with friends.

Anyone?

:)

I hope ya’ll enjoy this festive season!

10 days till I leave this place called home.
