I had a 4 month break from blogging and I felt as though I need to get all these thoughts and personal happenings out of my chest and into this page.

After all, I may be looking back and reminiscing on the past, just by referring back to this blog and my previous. 

So here goes, a ‘verbal diarrhea’ 

I haven’t been doing anything much since the beginning of this year up till the present. I’ve been trying to juggle everything a 21 year old ‘responsible-going-to-be-graduate’ is suppose to do whilst squeezing my way through this last lap of my university degree. 

Applied for jobs after numerous jobs, but all I got was a few replies out of millions  25. Being a non-resident puts me at a disadvantage for even getting shortlisted to the next round of recruitment. However, *thank my lucky stars*, I had a ‘private-number’ phone call mid last week, and a company inviting me to run a phone interview with them.

Gladly/excitedly agreed over the phone and I proceeded with the phone interview. Passed that round, and was into the next recruitment stage: interview, group assessments and skilled assessments. Yet to be informed of the outcome, but *crosses fingers* I hope my lucky star is still with me.

Besides that mundane part of my studying life, I went to catch the ever-ly awesome TV series, Sex and The City. 

From the Christian Louboutin and Manolo Blahnik shoes, Vivienne Westwood designs, the latest Gucci bag to the choice of clothing, I absolutely adored each and every outfit they picked for each of the girls.

I love how each girl plays a different character, and how their friendship withstands anything! I am not going to be a spoiler for everyone, but it is definitely under my Must Watched movie of the year! Sadly, if you’re in Malaysia, the movie might play for 15 minutes long even though it being a 2 1/2 hour long movie.

Hahaha, different scenes of nudity and intense make-out scenes!

After getting out of the ‘overly packed with women cinema’, I was thinking of going on a shopping spree, treating myself to a new pair of gladiator heels.

Aren’t they just gorgeous? Not too sexed up, but just yummy.

I guess that’s about all the updating I can do. Now is back to studying my ass off for my finals, which sadly begins this thursday. Which also happens to be the week where Australia is having its BIGGEST SALE. Damn the financial year that begins mid july. 

So poor me (who rarely falls sick, im serious) has fallen ill due to the stupid weather.
I am now down with a stupid flu, bad cough, even worse sorethroat and a disappearing fever.

Uni starts on Monday for me, finally after a long 3 month break I think my brain has stopped functioning in ways I want it to be.

The flight over to Melbourne was my worst flight ever taken in my life.
It was so bad, I thought I was going to die.
I know turbulence is a normal thing to experience when you’re flying, but this turbulence wasn’t very nice to us.
The weather outside was somewhat stormy and stuff, and the plane actually literally dropped a few feet.
And it happened without warning, so there were people walking along the aisle…

There was this poor lady who actually fell down beside where I was seated.
Scary, much.

But I’m back in one piece!

Melbourne greeted me with a warm sunny summer morning.
But today, the temperature dropped to 16degrees.
Boo, so much for planning to get a tan!

Next Stop: Sydney next week!

Its 5am on a Sunday Morning, and I’m leaving this place called comfort-zone homesweethome in less than 40 hours.
I remembered when I touched down on the 2nd of December, I was thinking..

“wah, got 3 months holiday. shit. damn long wei….”

But in a blink of an eye, my 3 months of lazing around, my 8 weeks of temporary LDR has finally come to an end.
Mixed emotions, much.

You see, everyone thinks that after 3 years of leaving abroad.. Leaving home might be something that I’ve gotten used to over the years.
But ironically, the “leaving” part only gets tougher and tougher each time.

I am going to miss my family, close friends, cheap food, hot weather and most of all my very own comfort zone.

Urgggh, I’m so emotional right now I can actually cry buckets.
Save me?

I’ll be back in Melbourne on Tuesday morning. I shall update with pictures from Melbourne.

As for me, my other half is approximately 5000 miles away, unfortunately down under.

I woke up this morning, thinking that my 14th February will be mediocre.
I had a few guy friends asking me out for dinner and all that jazz, but my biggest valentine, my Dad asked my Mom and I out as well.
So I gave in to my biggest valentine, my Dad.

But some time in the evening, my doorbell rang.
There stood this guy whom I know holding a bouquet.

“Your boyfriend sent this to you, via me. He chose this flower for you. A stalk of Lily, representing you, his only love..”

I melted instantly.
Such a sweetheart, that guy 5000 miles away.
Making me miss him more and more each day.
But 4 days just seperates us. Just 4 more days

So i checked the local newspapers of a 7-day weather forecast.

Seems like the day I touch down (19th, Tuesday), the weather is Min: 20 and Max: 34

And may I add, mostly sunny too.
Guess it’s time for me to hit the beach and still comfortably wear my shorts and baby t’s.

I guess I’m a happy girl.
Touching down in Melbourne on the 19th of February marks a day where I can walk around the city, shop, bask under the sun and pay a visit to St Kilda Beach

I can’t hardly wait (in a way.)

The 3 powerpower “ong” girls who managed to get 21 and double ace 4 times in a row.

We then lost almost all our winnings to the banker.
Which was quite sad despite a great start.
Boo.
But I had fun sipping wine while spending time with these girls I hardly see throughout the year.

Just came home from Eujin’s place, where we had a mahjong session.

Countdown to Melbourne : Exactly 7 days.

Since I haven’t seen these guys in awhile, I agreed even though it was way pass 11pm.
Had my usual caramel macchiato at my favourite happy place, Starbucks and we quickly went over to Eujin’s place.

Eujin recently bought his new toy, the Play Station 3 (PS3), so the guys were playing it for awhile.
Then we started our gambling sessions with Chor Di, where silly Joseph won like 30 out of 45 times.
Big guesses who the big winner was that night.

So here I am, at the coming age of twenty-one, pursuing my Professional Papers while studying my ass brains off for my final 8 papers.
And my seniors were telling me..

“..sigh when you’re in your 3rd year, better study more ar. Don’t play so much anymore. You mold your own future..”

So much for university life being a bliss huh?.
Think again.
Pre-school, middle school and high school must’ve been a breeze for all of us.

Here I come. My CFA (Chatered Financial Analyst) journey begins.
On their website, it actually states that only 1/5 people actually pass this programme.
1/5 is crazy statistics.

Pray for me, pretty please?
Please.
I’m going to be so stressed out this year, I might even disappear from the world.

Sigh, I don’t wanna grow up anymore.
