As for me, this year’s reunion dinner was spent quite differently as my cousins were all abroad studying in UK.
And the UK has different holidays from Australia, so this time, no cousins.
Just my brother and I, and the old folks. *giggles*

Dinner was scrumptious at the Grandma’s, and the first day was at Grandma’s where all my relatives would visit.
I have yet to start gambling yet with friends.

10 days till I leave this place called home.

In just a blink, I’ll be flying off to Melbourne once again.
Third time leaving this country makes me feel somewhat, used to saying goodbyes.

Goodbye to my 3 months of bumming around, goodbye to my dearest family, goodbye to yummy mamak/hawker food, goodbye to hot humid weather, goodbye to close friends and most importantly, goodbye to home sweet home.

Mixed emotions actually.
I’m so eager to go back and start this healthy routine of mine (my resolutions this year is to stay healthy throughout the year – no supper, more sleep, more cardio), instead of bumming around and letting my brains rot here in KL.
I hope I can keep up with my resolutions this year *crosses fingers*

Thinking back, 3 months of pure holiday-ing, is quite mundane.
Can’t wait to kick back at work, and start my brain functioning again before I’m literally brain dead.

Mid-february weather is somewhat between 20-30 degrees.
Mostly below 20 at night.
YAY.
I get to wear all my pretty coats I bought courtesy of the Gossip Girl influence
*if you haven’t seen Gossip Girls, its a-must-see tv series*
I love their winter apparels and fashion..
I got myself a few “Gossip Girl” stockings, coats and scarfs.
Time for new boots

And then comes July/August. Winter-baby.
Snowboarding, skiing? Snowboarding, skiing?
Skiing!
Snowboarding is for tough boys/girls.
I prefer skiing, looks more feminine.

Last day on the mountains.

Hello bright sunshines, hello mother nature, hello more walking, hello cheap starbucks, hello university life, hello yummy japanese food, hello late-night mahjong sessions, hello cold weather and most of all, hello boyfriend whom I havent seen for 7 weeks.

Mixed Emotions?
Much.

My sweet escape.

Can’t you take me there once more?

I love long walks on the beach, at night.

Such tranquillity, I certainly miss those times.

Would you take my hand, and walk me through?

Or would you just keep this awkward silence between us.

Time will tell, and I’d like to know.

I’ve found my new athlete “eye-candy”.
Born on the 22nd of May 1987 (just a few days before me..), he’s such a classic young athlete full of youth and charm.
I love his charming look.
Seriously.

On the way home from our usual late night drinks, Kelly Yeng and I were just talking about life.

“…Oh em gee, we’re damn old already la babe. 21 this year! I was talking to my friend the other day and we realized that we’re graduating soon, and….. have to work already….”

“…Oh shit, yeah have to work already. Must worry about whether we’ll make enough money to support our so called luxurious lifestyle.. how wei babes..”

“…Sigh, to come to think of it.. we have so much more responsiblities now.. have to take care of parents after that, take care of ourself, start worrying about our married lifes, kids etc…”

“…Gosh, I didn’t know we’ll grow up this fast. Nowadays also lazy go drinking, clubbing and all, everyday also feel like staying at home, chill watch tv…”

Time flies babe. I still remember you in your high school baju kurung.
Damn.

Makes me wish that I don’t have to grow up, ever.

Today was a rather productive day I would say *pats myself on my back*
Got my lazy ass to the gym after 5-days-of-non stop eating in Singapore
Brought my gym buddy Vivianne along to accompany me suffer a hour of intensive cardio workout.

And when I say intensive cardio, I mean a soaking wet t-shirt after that RPM class.
YAY.
Burn fat burn fat burn burn burn those stupid accumulated fat from Melbourne food.

Roar.

I hate going overseas; the portions are larger, the weather is colder which forces you to eat more carbs (which is the biggest downfall!).

Highlight of the day:
Eating grilled calamari, prawns and Dory for dinner and meeting up with Justin , Kelly n Singz again

Visiting the gym tomorrow, perhaps? Yes I must!

Am still shocked over Heath Ledger’s death. Sigh, makes you realize that Life Is Short.

Australia’s hunky actor, Heath Ledger was found dead in New York early this morning (7.30am melbourne time).

I decided to change the layout of my blog to spruce things up a little.
I love the design of this layout although, writing on a grey background ain’t going to be easy as colours are limited.
I’ve got comments that the girl in the picture above is somewhat scary, I find her cute.

Don’t bother with the layout of the old posts as it was adjusted to the old layout and I couldnt’ be bothered playing with the HTML codes because I’m seriously illiterate on how to go abouts.
And the links/sidebars I’ll finish it up another day, when I’m not that tired to squint at the small printed html’s.
